7 months old...
Wow our little miracle baby is now 7 months old. He is changing so much every day. He is weighing in at just 13 pounds now and showing his chunky cheeks and legs and they are so cute. He is a very active little guy and starting to manipulate mommy and daddy a bit too. He is sucking on his hand at every opportunity he has and scooting when we have him in his crib. Not rolling much just up on his side every now and then. He is battling his first cold and now double ear infection. He is still through all of this sleeping very well and only getting up one time in the night. He is eating great and growing like a mad man, as Brad says. We are having so much fun with him and he is keeping us busy busy. We have had so much going on and now just trying to get the little guy feeling better. We are giving him breathing treatments too to help with the wheezing he has going on. So after 4 trip to the doctor and one to the hospital for x-rays we are hopefully on the end of this. Dylan went for his eye check up a few weeks ago and his eyes are so good they don't need to see him back for 3 months and no glasses!!!! We took him for his high risk checkup last week at the University and he did great. He was passing his room air test until they put him on his belly for tummy time to see him lift himself up with his hands and his stats dropped into the upper 80's so they continued his oxygen until we go back in June. We were pretty bummed we felt this was unfair putting him on his belly and expect him to breat just as good as on his back but I guess we would rather be safer than sorry. So developmentally he is over where they would expect him to be for a baby born at full term and still getting up to that bottom line of the growth curve for a 7 month old baby. So we are thrilled and he is thriving more every day. We are in a great routine and the puppy is doing great with Dylan too. We will post Easter pictures soon. They are precious just like him. So hopefully I will update more regularly now! But we just can't thank everyone enough for the continued prayers, we are really happy that this faith and love has pulled us through the tuff times and god is definetly watching us and our little angel Dalton is giving Dylan extra strength to stay healthy, growing and strong!
