Dylan gave his daddy the best fathers day gift ever, just being here with him on that day. We got daddy a video camera and he put it to great use taking videos of his boy doing just about anything he thought was cute. It was a great day to reflect on Brad now being a father to his own child and us as parents looking back in our past for everything that our fathers have done for us. My brother made Brad an amazing fathers day present that was definetely a surprise. I knew my mom and Chase had something neat in the works but had no idea what it was. He made Brad this wonderful video of Dylan from the moment he was just a few hours old until now, and it goes along with a song my mom picked out. It is amazing, we guarantee you will not be able to watch it without sheding a tear or few.... He also put the video on youtube, so you can view it, you have to it is amazing.
So here is how you can view it: go to www.youtube.com , then under search type in Chase Kinney , then the videos he has will come up, this is titled Dylan Dedication. Just click on it.
We have watched this video at least one time per day since my mom gave it to us. This is probably one of the most memorable things we will cherish forever.
We took Dylan in for his follow-up eye exam this week. It went great. They were very happy with how the retina looks and the ROP disease is gone!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!! What they are now watching is a bit of nearsidedness. They said if he was 2 or 3 they would probably give him glasses now but since he is still a baby they will wait. We go back in 3-4 months and they will redilate his eyes. They did tell us it is probable he will have glasses before the end of the year. This is okay and I think we can definetely deal with that. We also took him in for his 9 month checkup. Nurse Cousin Jessie took great care of him as always. We got the go ahead to not only keep going with the cereal but to also add some fruits and veggies! We are really looking forward to that.
So things are still great and Brad really enjoyed Fathers day. After all he is a daddy to two wonderful boys. His first born angel Dalton and now our little spit fire miracle, Dylan!~
