Happy Easter...

Happy Easter 2008!
We are having a nice relaxing Easter this year at home. We looked outside this morning and were so surprised to see more snow!!!! Now that it is officially Spring the snow should be gone, right?! Not in Iowa!!
Dylan found all of his eggs and new toys from the Easter bunny. He has been so busy lately just discovering many new things around the house and also discovering the new things he can do and noises he can make! He is doing great since he got tubes put in his ears and he has even started saying a few new words. He has added 'baby' to his vocabulary. We started working with him on this word after we found we are going to add another little bundle of joy to this Holub family in October. This is definetely a year for New Beginnings for our family! Starting the year with Dylan at home, and now a new baby on the way, we are very fortunate things are going great for our family, especially Dylan!
Brad is still hopping along in his leg immobilizer, hopefully his doctor will tell him good news at tomorrow's appointment and he can get that thing off!
It is very fun now interacting more and more every day with Dylan. He was a daddy's boy for the past few months and now the tables have started to turn and it seems to be mommy he frequently wants. This is fun for Brad and I that Dylan changes his mind and goes back and forth to both of us. Daddys does most of the floor play time and mommy does most of the snuggling and song/book time. It works out great for us and Dylan definetely knows the difference.
We took Dylan for his first haircut last weekend, he did great! He sat on his daddy's lap and even let the lady use the razor on him, but he didn't like the spray bottle much or the blow dryer at the end. But now that he has an official hair cut he really looks like a little man, not so much a little boy!
We hope that Easter and Spring time are the start of new beginnings for your family too! We will give baby and Dylan updates to come. I will have the cerclage again to tie up my cervix on April 2nd. After this and even starting now my Dylan duty will have to be less, so more snuggling it will have to be!
Have a great Easter with your loved ones!~
