Happy Valentines Day...

Happy Valentines Day little man!
Dylan is just cracking us up these days. Last weekend we were able to have a family fun day out of the house! We surely took advantage of the wonderful almost 60 degree weather and all got a breath of fresh air. At daycare he was able to play outside for a little bit, it was what we all needed! We went to the Outdoor show in Iowa City where Dylan waited in line to get his favorite rod and fish balloon, he LOVED it and would not let it go of it for anything. He was a little to young to fish for the real fish, Brad really wanted to try but Dylan wasn't too interested yet, but this summer I know he will be!
So yesterday our sitter had a very fun Valentines Day party for the kids. They came home with lots of goodies and Valentines day cards. It was a very fun day for Dylan. But last night he started acting like he may not feel good, got a good runny nose back again. Brad went out to plow snow and I went into check on Dylan about 10:30 before I went to bed. He was burning up and sure enough had a fever. BUMMER! So he got a dose of Tylenol, it took awhile to break and today he hasn't had one. Feels warm but no fever.

So we are celebrating Valentines day at home watching the sun shine and looking at the newly snow covered ground, which yesterday was furry grass. This morning daddy wanted to make heart shaped french toast for everyone, it was yummy! Then for lunch mommy made heart shape pizza, it was yummy too! And tonight we are getting all dressed up and going out for a nice family dinner! One of the fun Valentines gifts that Dylan got from mommy and daddy was a new potty book. We are now starting to potty train as we think that Dylan is more than ready. He does NOT like any wet diaper anymore, he constantly says 'p-yew' if he is even the littlest bit wet. So we got him another new potty book, this one is just for boys! It says things like 'boys stand up to go pee pee and boys sit down to go poo poo' it is funny. Also the funnest part is the little potty button, you push the button you hear a toilet flushing and a little boy giggling, it is SO cute and he LOVES IT! So hopefully it will help get him on the right track.

Dylan is really loving the water now even more than ever! He splashes around like crazy in the bath tub now and doesn't mind getting water in his eyes. So we decided to put him and daddy in swimming lessons, it will be a really fun time!!! That starts soon so we will be sure and take LOTS of pictures. We have to get ready for the pool and fun vacations to come and we will need some swimming lessons for those fun times!
Here are some pics of the kids together. It doesn't happen often that I can get them in the picture together, but we managed a few. And Dylan likes to try and take his Bumbo back from Danielle, he thinks he still fits and can use it, silly boy! And his imagination is running wild. This morning he came out of his room trying to put his pj's around his neck for a cape, so we helped him make this 'cape' for him and he is running wild thru the hallways being such a boy, it is hilarious!!!We love you little man and can't wait to see what each new fun day with you brings!~
