Something new every day....

Dylan just continues to make each day in our house a new experience! He is just a little chatter box. And boy oh boy does he love wearing daddy's hats, as a matter of fact we usually have to keep them hidden or it is an all day occurrence! He is talking up a storm and just this weekend he started counting!!!!! This is very exciting, he will say 1.2 and sometimes 3, but we are just happy that he says constantly 1.2! And Mike and Kirsten were over and Mike said to Dylan, 'hey you' and he said back 'hey you' and continues to say it now. This is hilarious, one because he has never said that before and two because he copied him, we love it!!

Dylan went back for a re-check today for Pneumonia and he is doing better. Still has a pretty junky cough and coughs a bit at night so we are continuing the neb treatments 3 times daily and every 4 hours on the weekend. Last week Dylan was home for the whole week with mommy or daddy and this really helped him a lot, we were able to do constant treatments and using the suction machine and what a difference this made, constant prevention, there is something really to be said for that.

As you can see Dylan also got some Upper Case Living finally put up in his room last week too! He is so inquisitive and DOESN'T miss anything. I put these up and instantly he was in his room point, 'what's that', pointing to each new thing on the wall. So every morning and every night now we go over the Alphabet with him, he loves it. He points to the letters as either daddy or mommy sings the Alphabet song to him, we hope this really helps him learn his A.B.C's!
Dylan is becoming more of a little man every single day. He is such a little character and we may just have a little basketball player on our hands. His new hoop in the living room is getting lots of use these days, we can't wait until summer when we can play basketball outside! Keep growing and thriving little man, we love each new day with you and hearing your new thoughts and words!~
