Happy Easter...

Happy Easter!

Easter is such a wonderful time of the year. A time for renewal and togetherness and also the beginning of Spring! Beautiful flowers begin to bloom, bright fun colors are everywhere and Dylan is loving to be outside more now that the weather is starting to turn around! We went to Menards and daddy got all of the items to build the kids their own play fort/swing set! Stay tuned for 'project play yard for the Holub kids'!

The Easter Bunny found our house and brought the kids some really fun new toys and cute jammies! It is just priceless to see the expression on Dylan's face when he runs into the living room expecting to run to his toys when....all of a sudden he spots some new ones!

Today mommy and daddy took the kids for Easter Brunch at Indian Creek Country Club. We didn't have any Easter plans really, so a few weeks ago we decided that it would be fun to take them for brunch to the place that we had our wedding reception. It also had a special meaning for mommy because that is where my Grandparents use to take us for Easter when they were alive, we miss Grandma and Grandpa Kinney but it is fun to revisit a family tradition! Dylan wasn't much into eating, he was more interested in his new Elmo stuffed animal and Elmo Easter book that the Easter Bunny brought today. It was a great brunch, and it was nice to be able to look out and see the golf course and everything starting to turn green!

Dylan continues to love Aqua Tots! He has such a great time with daddy. We have been limiting the amount of toys he can play with in the bath tub to help him learn that he doesn't need all of those toys when he is in the pool! So, last week went better. He was such a good boy and he went totally under the water again and loved it. Mommy got a great picture, here is the proof that we have a little fishy on our hands!

A few weeks ago we took the kids for professional Easter pics. They turned out good, especially for the fact that Dylan seriously did NOT want to cooperate that day. He was surely showing off his terrible two's in public, probably the first time for mommy and daddy. We can laugh about it now but it really wasn't too funny at that time, LOL! So here are a few pics of the kids!!

Dylan continues to show us his new 'tricks' every day! Today his favorite new thing was the number 9! He would go to his number play mat and pull out the nine and yell 'nine', he was so proud of himself and it was so cute! He of course loved his 'Melmo' and has to take him everywhere. He lightens our life every single day. We love you Dylan, Happy Easter buddy!~
