Curious about everything.....

Dylan is SO curious these days....well....about a lot of things. His mind is always going and wondering what many things are. He asks, 'mom' this and 'dad' that and 'why this and that'! Much like Curious George....!

Last weekend Dylan got to see the World Premier of Curious George Live! Dylan's Great Aunt and Uncle and Cousins, the Dietikers, got Dylan tickets to see this great show for his birthday. Dylan was very excited as Curious George is one of his favorites. He gets to watch Curious George when he gets home from daycare every night when mommy feeds the baby. He even has named his 'Build a Bear', which is a Monkey, George! Cassie and Cody took Dylan to the show and all morning long Dylan couldn't hardly wait. He was very excited to go with Cassie and Cody and especially to ride in Cody's truck! Cassie said Dylan sat pretty good thru the show! Aunt Connie was able to get 4th row seats! They are SO wonderful and do such great things for these kiddo's. Cassie and Dylan have quite the connection, after all, every blonde girl he sees Dylan calls' them Cassie! It's pretty funny. Cassie, Cody and Dylan arrived at the US Cellular Center, Dylan snagged some popcorn and all was good. An afternoon to remember.....

Dylan had so much fun at Curious George. It was his first time going to that type of a show and I think it was a hit. All last week he kept talking about Curious George and he has slept with his new toy ever since. A BIG Thank You to the Dietikers for the generous gift of the tickets for Dylan to be able to go for his birthday! It sure was right up his alley, perfect entertainment for him and a great gift :)

This weekend Dylan sure has been 'Curious' about daddy and hunting. Bow Season opened a few weeks ago and Brad has been out hunting. Dylan did not understand the first few nights why he couldn't go with daddy. The first night, Brad was all ready to leave and comes in and tell us where he is going and gives everyone kisses and Dylan says to him, 'daddy, me go hunting to?' It about broke Brad's heart but sure gave him something to look forward to, the day when his son can go along with him! So every night when Brad leaves for hunting, Dylan watches out the window and turns and tells mommy, 'daddy go huntin' deer'. He's got it down already! But for now they stick to watching hunting video's together every Sunday morning, father and son traditions! Dylan is sure loving his baby sister even more these days! He now refers to her most of he time as, 'baby sissy', or 'baby sister'. He loves to snuggle when she is having play time on the floor. It is not too often that he lets her out of his sight! He sure is her protector, mom and dad love that!

Daddy and Dylan have also been playing a lot of catch these days. Dylan loves to throw the ball around and he sure has an arm. We think we may have a lefty on our hands, he is really favoring that hand when he plays catch, he eats with utensils and even colors with crayons. That is fine with us, which ever works best for him. Here are a few pics of playing catch during the football game last night, there are sure a lot of laughs during floor play time, we love every giggle we hear :)

We give high fives and claps after every big catch! Dylan gets very proud of himself after a big catch, the smiles are priceless!

And after all of the hard work, we take a break, in the chair that Great Grandma Phillips made for Grammy Martucci when she was little, he fixed it all up and re-did it for Dylan!

Our family has begun creating fall memories these past few weeks. Passing on traditions to our children, what a great feeling! Our little Curious George, Dylan, does not let a dull moment go by. Thank you lord for blessing us with our precious little man, Dylan you lighten up our lives and fill our hearts with unending love!~
